Learn Polish Pro

Teaching Polish as a foreign language all over the world: individually, in groups, stationary, online, and on every level.

About me

Cześć (which means “Hi” in Polish). My name is Łukasz, I am a native Polish speaker and a professional Polish teacher. I graduated in Polish philology (Polish studies), I also obtained a PhD in this field. I live in New Zealand, I have been here since early 2020, where I conduct Polish lessons at all levels, stationary and online, in group and individually. Moreover, I am the director of the Polish School in Auckland, which operates at the Auckland Polish Association.

Before New Zealand, I was an academic lecturer in Poland for 20 years, working at many universties. I tought Polish studies and Polish as a foreign language (e.g. for students, scientists, businessmen, people of every age and level of proficiency, and from many different countries).

Teaching and sharing the knowledge is for me something more than only a profession – it’s a true passion and I really love it!

      Pole's Card

Pole’s Card (Karta Polaka) is an official document confirming belonging to the Polish nation. It is also an important step towards obtaining Polish citizenship. Anyone with Polish roots can apply for the Pole’s Card. This involves the necessity to complete a special application, prepare documents confirming the origin and pass the exam at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the knowledge of the Polish language, as well as the history of Poland and Polish habits.

I help in the process of applying for the Pole’s Card, and above all in preparing for the exam.

      Polish citizenship

If you have properly documented Polish roots, you can apply for Polish citizenship. Of course, each case is different, so it is difficult to estimate how long the process will take.

However, do not worry, I provide comprehensive assistance in the entire process of applying for Polish citizenship – from consultations, through the analysis of family documents, teaching the Polish language, Polish history and culture, to assistance in filling out the application and communicating with Polish offices.
